Privacy Policy
// HOW WE HANDLE INFORMATION
1. Who We Are
TradePatternIQ is an educational platform owned and operated by HuBu-Intel ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information. Questions: Contact@HuBu-Intel.com.
2. What We Collect
We do not collect personal information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it. Access to the Platform is currently free and does not require an account. The information the Platform holds is written to your own browser storage on your own device and is not transmitted to us. It consists of: your consent acknowledgement, your saved favourites, your access level, and, if accounts are active and you create one, your account record and sign-in session (see section 5). Separately, standard server logs such as IP address and browser type may be processed transiently by our hosting provider for security and delivery of the site.
3. Legal Bases & Your Rights
Where processing occurs, we rely on legitimate interests (secure delivery of the site) and, where required, consent. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, and to object or complain to a regulator - including under the EU/UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles, Canada’s PIPEDA, and the California CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, contact us.
4. Third Parties & Data Transfers
Any live market data shown is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed; their handling of data is governed by their own policies. We do not sell your personal information. If hosting or processing occurs outside your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure an equivalent level of protection.
5. Account & Payment Data
If you create an account, we hold your name, email address, a random per account salt and a hashed form of your password. During the pre-launch phase this is written only to your own browser storage and is never sent to us. We do not hold plain text passwords at any point. No payment details are collected while payments are switched off. When paid subscriptions commence, card details will be handled by a third party payment processor and we will not store full card numbers. You may remove all stored data at any time by clearing site data in your browser, and, once accounts are active, by using the delete option in the account centre.
6. Retention & Deletion
Because the data described above is held in your own browser rather than on our servers, it is retained until you remove it and we cannot access, restore or delete it for you. Clearing site data in your browser erases all of it immediately and permanently, including any account record and saved favourites. Once accounts are active you will also be able to delete your account and its data from the account centre. Transient server logs held by our hosting provider are retained only for as long as is reasonably necessary for security and delivery, and are not used to build a profile of you. If we later hold personal data on our own servers, this section will state the applicable retention periods before that change takes effect.
7. Children
The Platform is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here.
Cookie & Local Storage Notice
// HOW THIS SITE USES BROWSER STORAGE
Essential Local Storage Only
This Platform uses your browser’s local storage for essential, functional purposes only. It stores your consent acknowledgement, your saved favourites, your access level, and, if accounts are active and you create one, your account record (name, email address, salt and hashed password) and your sign-in session. All of it stays on your device, is not sent to us and is not shared with third parties. None of it is used for advertising, profiling or tracking, so it is strictly necessary storage and does not require a consent banner.
No Advertising or Tracking Cookies
We do not set advertising cookies and do not use third-party tracking or cross-site profiling. Should any analytics be introduced in future, this notice and an appropriate consent mechanism will be updated to comply with EU/UK ePrivacy rules and GDPR, and equivalent laws in Australia, Canada, and the USA.
Managing Storage
You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings (clear site data or local storage). Because everything is held on your device and nothing is copied to a server, clearing it is immediate and permanent: it removes your saved favourites, your access level and any account you have created, and the consent screen will appear again on your next visit. We cannot recover any of it for you.
Legal Disclaimer, Terms of Use & Risk Disclosure
// EFFECTIVE UPON ACCESS - PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE USE
1. About This Platform & Operator
TradePatternIQ ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is an educational chart-pattern reference owned and operated by HuBu-Intel. The Platform provides general educational information about technical analysis chart patterns. It is comparable to an educational textbook or encyclopedia and nothing more. By accessing or using the Platform, you ("the User", "you") agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Educational Content - Accuracy Not Warranted
Pattern descriptions, statistics, reliability figures, formation rules, and commentary are compiled from published technical-analysis literature for general education and are produced with the assistance of automated tools. This platform is AI-powered, and artificial intelligence can make mistakes or produce inaccuracies - always verify independently and consult professional advisers. This content has not been independently verified by a licensed financial professional and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Any percentage or reliability figure is an indicative range only - it is not audited, not a guarantee, and not a representation of actual past or future performance. You must independently verify all information before relying on it for any purpose.
3. Not Financial, Investment or Professional Advice
Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, trading, securities, derivatives, tax, accounting, or legal advice, or any recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any financial product or to adopt any trading or investment strategy. The content is general in nature and does not take account of your objectives, financial situation, or needs. No fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, or client relationship is created by your use of the Platform. You should obtain independent, licensed professional advice tailored to your circumstances before making any financial decision.
4. Not Licensed or Registered
TradePatternIQ and HuBu-Intel are not registered, licensed, authorised, or regulated as an investment adviser, financial adviser, broker-dealer, financial services licensee, or in any similar capacity in any jurisdiction. This includes, without limitation, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and FINRA; the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) (we do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence); Canadian provincial securities commissions (including the CSA / OSC); and EU national competent authorities under MiFID II / ESMA. We do not provide any "financial product advice" as defined under the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), nor any regulated service under equivalent laws elsewhere.
Trading and investing in financial instruments (including shares, forex, derivatives, CFDs, futures, options, and crypto-assets) carries a high level of risk and may result in the loss of some or all of your capital. Leverage can amplify losses beyond your initial deposit. Chart patterns fail regularly; past performance and historical pattern behaviour do not indicate or guarantee future results. You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Consider whether trading is appropriate for you in light of your circumstances and, if necessary, seek independent advice.
6. "As Is" - No Warranties
The Platform and all content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or error-free, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or secure. Australian consumers: nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law where doing so would be unlawful; where a guarantee is implied by law and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by that law.
7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradePatternIQ, HuBu-Intel, and their owners, officers, contributors, and affiliates accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss or damage, including any trading loss, investment loss, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or reliance on the Platform or its content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradePatternIQ and HuBu-Intel from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Eligibility & Your Responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into these Terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform is lawful in your location and for compliance with all laws, regulations, and licensing requirements that apply to you. The Platform is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to local law.
9. Privacy & Data
The Platform is designed to operate as a static educational reference and does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising. Where any personal data is processed, we aim to handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles, the EU/UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, Canada's PIPEDA, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) where applicable. Live market data, if shown, may be sourced from third parties and may be delayed; we are not responsible for third-party data accuracy or availability.
10. Free Pre-Launch Access
TradePatternIQ is currently in a pre-launch phase. During this phase the Platform is provided free of charge to all users, no account is required, no payment details are collected and no amount is charged. Accounts, subscriptions, payments and account management features are visible but switched off. Free access is offered at our discretion, is not a contractual entitlement, and may be varied, limited or withdrawn at any time. We will give notice on the Platform before paid subscriptions commence. Nothing in this clause obliges us to provide the Platform, or any particular feature of it, indefinitely.
11. Accounts, Registration & Security
When accounts are activated, you agree to provide accurate registration details and to keep them current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to hold an account. During the pre-launch phase, any account details you enter are held only in your own browser on your own device, are not transmitted to us, and passwords are salted and hashed rather than stored as plain text. Because that data sits on your device, clearing your browser storage will erase it and it cannot be recovered by us. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or where required by law.
These terms apply once paid subscriptions commence.
Plans and prices. Monthly access is $8.99 AUD per month and yearly access is $79.90 AUD per year. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then current price, until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your nominated payment method on each renewal.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the account centre. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.
Refunds. Except where a refund is required by law, fees already paid are not refundable, and part periods are not refunded on cancellation. Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection law, including your right to a remedy where a service is not supplied with due care and skill or is not fit for purpose.
Price changes. We may change prices with reasonable notice before the change takes effect for your next renewal, and you may cancel before that date if you do not accept it.
Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe, our third party payment processor, and are subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. Card details are entered into and handled by the processor. We do not store full card numbers. Failed or reversed payments may result in suspension of paid features.
Cooling off for consumers in the EU and the UK. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you generally have 14 days from the day the contract is entered into to withdraw from it without giving a reason. Because a subscription gives you access to digital content immediately, at checkout you will be asked to expressly request immediate supply and to acknowledge that you thereby lose that 14 day right of withdrawal once supply begins. If you do not give that acknowledgement, supply will start after the 14 day period. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable statutory right you hold in your own country.
Billing enquiries and complaints. For any billing question, disputed charge, cancellation difficulty or complaint, contact Contact@HuBu-Intel.com. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days. If a matter cannot be resolved with us, you may be able to refer it to the consumer protection or data protection regulator in your own country, and Australian users may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
What a subscription is not. A subscription buys access to educational reference material only. It does not create an advisory, fiduciary or professional relationship, does not entitle you to financial advice, and carries no promise of trading performance or profit.
13. Intellectual Property
All branding, text, layout, and design of the Platform are owned by or licensed to HuBu-Intel and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and reference the content for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not copy, republish, resell, or exploit the content commercially without prior written permission.
14. Governing Law, Changes & Acceptance
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of your own country of residence (including the UK, EU, Canada, and USA). We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. By accessing or continuing to use this Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Legal Disclaimer, Terms of Use, and Risk Disclosure in full, and that you use the Platform entirely at your own risk.
Glossary
// KEY TERMS ACROSS ALL PATTERN CATEGORIES
Support & Resistance
Support: price level where buying historically halts a decline. Resistance: where selling halts a rally. Broken support often becomes resistance and vice versa.
Breakout
Price moving decisively above resistance or below support, often on expanding volume. Signals the start or acceleration of a trend.
Retracement
A temporary counter-move against the prevailing trend before it resumes. Used to find lower-risk entries.
Fibonacci Ratios
Key levels: 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 78.6%, 127%, 161.8%. Widely used in harmonic patterns to identify support, resistance, and price targets.
Volume
Number of shares or contracts traded. High volume on a breakout adds conviction; declining volume in a trend warns of exhaustion.
PRZ (Potential Reversal Zone)
In harmonic patterns, the cluster of Fibonacci levels where multiple ratios converge, indicating a high-probability turning point.
Neckline
A trendline connecting the troughs in a Head & Shoulders top (or peaks in an inverse). Breaking it confirms the pattern.
